About Burger Racing
Burger Racing started in 1954 with Don Burger racing at tracks that included the Mazon Speed Bowl, Raceway Park (Blue Island IL) and Renzalaer IN.  Don drove a variety of race cars including a 1937 Buick Sedan, a 1940 Coupe and a 1956 Chevy to name a few. Don's son Tim started racing in 1992 after being raised around race cars. Tim bought a street stock in 1991, a Camaro. He later moved on to a Monte Carlo, racing at tracks like Mt. Vernon, Farmer City, Kankakee, Lasalle, Spoon River, and Peoria. Tim finished up his career in 1999 handing it over to his son T.D. Burger. T.D. began racing a modified in 1999. He currently runs a Psycho by Vallow chassis and has raced at places like Shadyhill Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, East Moline Speedway and Vermillion County Speedway. All three generations of drivers (Don, Tim, T.D) have drove at Fairbury, Farmer City, Shadyhill Speedway, Peoria Speedway and Kankakee Speedway; and have all captured feature wins at Fairbury Speedway. Current crew members  Jim Burger, Don Burger and Bill Davis have been with the race team since 1992, with Don, Jim and Tim being with the team since the 50's. Joe Livingston and Chris Jackson have joined the team within the last 5 years.  Sponsors include HP Machine building the engines, King Motorsports, Bloomington Thunder, Larry Shaw Race Cars, Bodies by Mario Vietti,  and Vallow Speed and Perfomance. Burger Racing is looking forward to a great 2018 end of the season as well as looking forward to seeing you all at the track.
